Project Description
My client was having challenges with the BackWPup plugin failing on backing up their large photo gallery.
I resolved the backup challenge by splitting the backup that kept failing into two separate backups to reduce file sizes. This resolved the challenge, but I also recommended the client consider storing their photos away from their WordPress site to avoid this in the future.
The client decided they would like me to investigate options for storing their photos in Dropbox and pulling them into their WordPress site. They ultimately chose to go with the a WordPress plugin that uses the Dropbox API to pull in photos from their Dropbox account and displays them as a gallery. Once the client purchased this app, I copied their photos from their site to their Dropbox account and configured their photo gallery to display photos from Dropbox, instead of pulling from their website.
This contract ended on good terms with the client knowing how to add and organize new photos on their website via Dropbox.
