Project Description
This client had a Leadpage that applied a tag whenever a contact signed up to watch their webinar, which sent an email with a link to watch the webinar. The desired setup was to have someone be taken directly to the page that allows them to watch the webinar, without needing to click an email link. The contact still needed to receive tagging for having started and completed the video (via MyFusion Helper), as well as the rest of the campaign elements. The main goal was to eliminate the Welcome email.
I was able to investigate options for proceeding with the requested changes from the client and determined the reason the original developer was sending the contacts to Infusionsoft before the Thanks page was to enable MyFusion Helper to track who was watching the video when they clicked the link in the email. I let the client know if they wanted to change the flow of the campaign to go straight to the webinar page, they would not be able to track video viewing stats like they currently were.
My client decided they wished to keep the current campaign in place and to set up a new campaign that sends contacts directly to the webinar. I set up this campaign and provided the information necessary for their team to run an A/B split test through Leadpages.
This contract ended successfully with the client having the necessary information to run an A/B split test to see what data was most meaningful to track.
